Alright, you have clicked the Authoring button from the Guide Menu.
It has brought up the DVD Movie Factory. Yes, I know that you don't
want to make a DVD right now and that you want to get your video into Moviemaker.
But keep going there is a method to my madness! Make sure that the Video Disc
options is selected (like in the screenshot). Next, click the New Project button.

To see an instructional video that covers everything from clicking the Authoring button
as described below to the step of saving your video in a format Windows Moviemaker can actually use,
click on the the video player to the right! You might want to click on the Full Screen button for better
viewing!
