Step 2 - Installing the Proper Software

Ok, you might have already done this step already, but I'm going to cover it anyway (just in case). This step is a one-time step of installing some software that came in the box with your new Canon HG10 video camera.

To get video into Windows Movie Maker, you need to install the software on the Corel Application Disc. If you have already installed this software, go on to the next step. Insert the Corel Application Disc into a CD drive on your PC. The installer for the disk should start in a few seconds automatically. I recommend going with all the default settings. When done installing this software, go on to the next step.
